Java-arrays

Normaal gesproken is een array een verzameling van vergelijkbare typen elementen met een aangrenzende geheugenlocatie.

Java-array is een object dat elementen van een vergelijkbaar gegevenstype bevat. Bovendien worden de elementen van een array opgeslagen op een aangrenzende geheugenlocatie. Het is een datastructuur waarin we vergelijkbare elementen opslaan. We kunnen slechts een vaste set elementen in een Java-array opslaan.

Array in Java is indexgebaseerd, het eerste element van de array wordt opgeslagen op de 0e index, het 2e element wordt opgeslagen op de 1e index, enzovoort.

In tegenstelling tot C/C++ kunnen we de lengte van de array bepalen met behulp van het lengtelid. In C/C++ moeten we de operator sizeof gebruiken.

In Java is array een object van een dynamisch gegenereerde klasse. Java-array neemt de klasse Object over en implementeert zowel de serialiseerbare als de kloonbare interfaces. We kunnen primitieve waarden of objecten opslaan in een array in Java. Net als C/C++ kunnen we in Java ook enkeldimensionale of multidimensionale arrays maken.

Bovendien biedt Java de mogelijkheid van anonieme arrays, wat niet beschikbaar is in C/C++.

    Code-optimalisatie:Het maakt de code geoptimaliseerd, we kunnen de gegevens efficiënt ophalen of sorteren.Willekeurige toegang:We kunnen alle gegevens op een indexpositie verkrijgen.

Nadelen

    Groottelimiet:We kunnen alleen de vaste grootte van elementen in de array opslaan. Het wordt tijdens runtime niet groter. Om dit probleem op te lossen wordt in Java een verzamelframework gebruikt dat automatisch groeit.
